SEVENS RUGBY WORLD CUP
The Rugby Sevens World Cup is held every 4 years - 2018 in USA, 2022 and beyond..

The last Rugby World Cup Sevens was held in Russia in Moscow in 2012. Congratulations to NZ who won by demolishing England 33-0 in the final.

Previous Sevens RWC winners have been England in 1993, Fiji in 1997, New Zealand in 2001, Fiji again in 2005, Wales in 2009 and New Zealand again in 2013.

Because Sevens Rugby was included in the 2016 Olympic games there was no tournament in 2017.

In future tornaments with be held in the same years as the Winter Olympics (2018, 2022 etc)

The United States is the 2018 host country with games in San Jose and San Francisco.

Between World Cups there are plenty of great Sevens tournaments around the world. For the best atmosphere, maybe try the Hong Kong Sevens tournament.
